Muhtelif zamanlarda, izole edilip kürsümüzde nihai tiplendiriminiyaptığımız 72 V. comma biotype eltor kütüklerinin özelliklerişöyle saptanmıştır :Burada geniş ölçüde ve literatürle karşılaştırarak tartışmayave spekülasyona girmeyeceğiz. Çünkü veriler eksiktir ve incelemelerdebilinen sebeplerden ötürü kısıtlı durumdayız.Bu 72 kültürün incelemesinde ;a) Bunlar biyoşimileri yönünden Hayberg'in I öbeğine girmektedirler,b) Hepsi lâmda tavuk alyuvarlarını aglütine etmektedirler.c) Hepsi kanlı agarda çevrede hemodigestivon göstermektedirler.d) Bir suş hariç, 71 suş buyyonda koyun kanını hemolizeedememişler ve non hemolitik bulunmuşlardır. Bu önemli birbulgudur.e) Bunlardan 15'i Ogawa, 27'si İnabe, 27'si Hikojima, serotipinegirmiştir. Hikojimalarda absorpsiyon deneyi yapılmamıştır.Yalnız üç tane nonaglutinable vibriyon bulunmuş olupbiyotipleri diğerlerine uygundur.İ) 21 tanesinde faj tipinin E olduğu saptanmıştır.
The characteristics of 72 V. comma biotype eltor stocks, which we isolated and finalized in our department at various times, were determined as follows:We will not enter into extensive discussion and speculation here, comparing them with the literature. This is because the data is incomplete, and we are limited in our analysis for obvious reasons.In the examination of these 72 cultures;a) They fall into Hayberg's Group I biochemistry.b) All of them agglutinate chicken red blood cells on lamb.c) All of them show hemodigestion in the environment on blood agar.d) Except for one strain, 71 strains failed to hemolyze sheep blood in broth and were found to be non-hemolytic. This is an important finding. e) Of these, 15 were classified as Ogawa, 27 as Inabe, and 27 as Hikojima. No absorption experiments were performed on Hikojima. Only three nonaglutinable vibrios were found, and their biotypes were consistent with the others.i) Phage type E was determined in 21 of them.
