Treatment Results for Injuries to the Great Peripheral Arteries

Forty-eight cases of peripheral great artery injuries, presenting in both early and late stages, were examined. Complete recovery (87%) was achieved in 41 of these cases followed for 1-12 years. One case died in the early postoperative period due to acute myocardial ischemia. It is imperative that all peripheral great artery injuries receive appropriate treatment as early as possible.

Erken ve geç dönemlerde gelen 48 çevrel büyük arter yaralanması incelendi. Bunlardan 1-12 yıl izlenen 41 vak'ada tam şifa (% 87) elde edilmiştir.Bir vak'a erken post - operatif dönemde akut myocardium isehemia'sı ile kaybedilmiştir. Çevrel büyük arter yaralanmalarında mümkün olan en erken dönemde gereken tedavinin yapılması zorunludur.
