Since 1949, our clinic has employed vitamin E for the prophylaxis and treatment of thrombosis. During this period, prophylactic measures were applied in 6,037 cases, with thrombosis developing in only 19 patients. In contrast, between the years 1932 and 1945—a span of 14 years—a total of 102 cases of thrombosis were recorded. Based on these findings, it can be concluded that vitamin E represents the most effective agent currently available for the prevention of thrombosis. Moreover, we have not observed any complications associated with the prophylactic or therapeutic use of vitamin E. Our results are consistent with current findings in the scientific literature.

Kliniğimizde 1949 senesinden beri Vit. E ile Tromboz profilaksi ve tedavisi yapılmaktadır. Bu zaman içinde 6037 vakada profilaksi yapılmış ve 19 Tromboz vakası tesbit edilmiştir. Fakat 1932-1945 seneleri arasında yani 14 sene içinde 102 vaka tesbit edilmiştir. Bundan dolayı vit. E. ni Tromboz profilaksisinde elde mevcut ilaçların en iyisi olduğu söylenebilir. Biz aynı zamanda vit. E. ile profilaksi ve tedavide herhangi bir komplikasyona rastlamadık. Bizim neticelerimiz bugünkü literatür malumatı ile de desteklenmektedir.
