                            <p>Recentiy, following the introduction of short-lived rad onucleidsinto the nuclear medicine, space-occuping lesions in brain have became more accurate and satisfactory from the imaging point of view.Aside from the usual hyperactive area indicating an intracerebral space-occupying lesion, a circular hyperactive area with a hypoactive central part, similar to a doughnut has been described.Üntil now only 17 cases having this image called the “doughnutsign” have been published in the world literature. Among the brainscannings performed during 1972 at the Ankara University MedicalSchool, Institüte of Radiobilogy only 7 cases were found having the“doughnut sign”. These 7 cases are presented in this article due totheir infregueney of occurence or this sign.</p></trans-abstract>
                                                                                                                                    <abstract><p>Kısa yarı ömürlü radyonüklidlerin nüklcer tıp alanında kullanılmağa başlanılmasından sonra son yıllarda beyin sintigrafilerinde görülen beyin içinde yer kaplayan lezyonlar imaj yönünden daha net vedaha yetindirici olmaktadır.Beyin içinde her hangi bir lezyona delalet eden klasik hiperaktifyev kaplayan alandan ayrı olarak, yuvarlak hiperaktif bir alan ortasında hipoaktif bir bölge halinde adeta simite benzeyen bir görüntütarif edilmiştir.“Doughnut” işareli Lahir edilen bu görüntüye havi olup şimdiyekadar dünya literatüründe neşredilen vakaların adedi 17 dir. AnkaraÜniversitesi Tıp Fakültesi Radyohiyoloji Enstitüsünde 1972 yılı içindeyapılan beyin sintigrafileri arasında 7 vakaya tesadüf edilmiştir.Seyrek olarak rastlanması, diagnoz ve prognoz yönünden bir fikirvermesi nedeni ile 7 vaka bu makalede takdim edilmiştir.</p></abstract>
