                            <p>By measuring the resistive impedance of whole blood and then plasma from heparinized blood samples taken from 61 different patients, a correlation was established that determines the relationship between resistive impedance and hematocrit. Hematocrit values determined using this correlation were compared with hematocrit values determined from the same blood samples by microcentrifugation, and full consistency was observed. The advantages of this new method over other hematological estimation methods using conductivity measurements are discussed; furthermore, the new interpretative possibilities offered by plasma conductivity measurements in various clinical syndromes are discussed.</p></trans-abstract>
                                                                                                                                    <abstract><p>61 değişik hastadan alınan heparinli kan örneklerinde önce tamkan, sonra da aynı kanın plazma rezistif empedansları ölçülerek, rezistif empedans değeri ile hematokrit ilişkisini belirleyen bir bağıntıkurulmuştur. Bu bağıntıdan yararlanarak belirlenen hematokrit degerleri aynı kan örneklerinden mikro-santrifüj yöntemiyle tayin edilen hematokrit değerleriyle karşılaştırılmış ve tam bir tutarlılık bulunduğu görülmüştür. İletkenlik ölçümlerinden yararlanarak yapılandiğer hematolojik tahmin yöntemlerine karşı bu yeni yöntemin üstünlükleri tartışılmış; ayrıca değişik klinik sendromlarda plazma iletkenlik ölçümlerinin getirdiği yeni yorum olanaklarından söz edilmiştir.</p></abstract>
