Serum IgA, IgM and 1gG levels were determined in 26 malnoris- hed infants. They had İreguent respiratory, gastroentestinal, and urinary sistem infections since birth and all were below 3 rd percen- tül. They were between 3 and 30 months old.Same immunoğlobulins were determined in 21 control infants. These infants had normal height and weight. But had the same enfections.Statistical calculation has shown no Significant difference bet- ween two groups. This shows that malnourished infant can give the same response to antigenic stimuly as the normal control infants does.
</trans-abstract>
