Bu çalışma, dermatomikoz tedavisinde kullanılan griseofulvinin daha ucuz ve pratik yollarla uygulanabilirliğini değerlendirmek amacıyla Doğu Anadolu'da 116 hasta üzerinde gerçekleştirilmiştir. Beş farklı hasta grubu oluşturularak tek doz veya gün aşırı farklı miktarlarda griseofulvin verilmiştir. Klinik ve mikolojik takip sonucunda, gün aşırı ve fraksiyone dozlarda uygulanan tedavi yöntemi daha yüksek başarı oranları sağlamıştır. Bu bulgu, ilacın vücutta daha iyi absorbe edilmesiyle ilişkilendirilmiştir. Tedavi protokolünün ekonomikliği ve etkinliği literatürle desteklenerek tartışılmıştır.

This study aimed to explore more cost-effective and practical methods of using griseofulvin in treating dermatomycoses, focusing on 116 patients from Eastern Anatolia. Five different treatment groups received either a single dose or intermittent administrations of various amounts of griseofulvin. Clinical and mycological evaluations revealed that intermittent and fractionated dosing resulted in higher treatment success rates, likely due to improved absorption. The protocol's economic viability and clinical efficacy were supported and discussed in light of existing literature.
