A. Ü. Tıp Fakültesi Kadın-Doğum Kliniğinde, tesbit edilen, 9 sene süre ile, intra-Uterin-Kontraseptif araç taşıyan bir vak'a takdim edildi. Bu münasebetle, ilgili literatür gözden geçirildi. intra-UterinKontraseptif araçların, etki tarzları ve meydana getirdiği çeşitli komplikasyonlar tartışıldı. Netice olarak, spermisit etkili, kısa ve lokal tesirli vaginal kontraseptiflerin geliştirilmesi ve kullanılması mn daha uygun olduğu kanaati belirtildi.

İn the department of Gynecolgy and Obstetrics, Ankara üniverCity School of Medicine, a case which had a intrauterine Device for nine years, has been reported. For this reason, the literature interested with this subject had been reviewed.The effect of Contraceptive intrauterine Devices and their complications had been discussed. We came to the conclusion. that, it is proper to develop and to üşe vaginal contraceptiver, which have brief and lokal spermicide effects.
