A case of dermoid cyst, located in parahypophyseal region which was comminicated with subarachnoid space has been presented. Cyst cavitywas operated on with preoperative diagnosis of arachnoid cyst. The bilateral optic atrophy and deafness have been attributed to the chronic aseptic meningitis due to reaction to cyst materials.

Parahipofizer bölgeye yerleşmiş, subaraknoid aralık ile bağlantılı bir dermoid kist vakası takdim edildi. Kist boşluğu pnomoensefalogramda hava ile dolmuştu ve hasta araknoıd kisti ön tanısı ile ameliyat edilmişti. Hastada mevcut bilateral optik atrofi ve bilateral sağırlık, kist materyelinin yaptığı reaksiyona bağlı aseptik kronik meninjit ile izah edildi.
