The International Journal of Euroasian Researches adopts a rigorous, transparent, and ethically grounded peer review process in order to ensure the scientific quality, originality, reliability, and academic integrity of the manuscripts it publishes. The journal follows a double-blind peer review model, in which the identities of both authors and reviewers are kept confidential throughout the evaluation process. This system is designed to secure impartiality, academic independence, and objective scholarly assessment.
All manuscripts submitted to the journal are first examined by the Editor-in-Chief and/or the Editorial Board through an initial editorial screening process. At this stage, the manuscript is evaluated in terms of its relevance to the journal’s aim and scope, compliance with author guidelines, academic quality, ethical suitability, originality, and formal requirements. Submissions are also screened through iThenticate or equivalent plagiarism detection software. Manuscripts with a similarity rate above the journal’s accepted threshold, namely 15%, or manuscripts that do not comply with the journal’s ethical and academic standards, may be rejected without being sent to external review.
Manuscripts that successfully pass the preliminary evaluation are assigned to at least two independent expert reviewers whose areas of expertise correspond to the subject matter of the submission. Reviewers are expected to evaluate manuscripts according to their originality, contribution to the field, methodological soundness, theoretical and analytical coherence, use of relevant literature, clarity of expression, and overall scholarly quality. Reviewer reports must be critical, constructive, evidence-based, and written in an academic tone. The review process is conducted in accordance with the ethical standards and best practice principles established by the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE).
If the reports submitted by the two reviewers contain substantially divergent recommendations, the manuscript is sent to a third independent reviewer. In such cases, the final decision is made by the Editor-in-Chief and the Editorial Board after a comprehensive assessment of all reviewer reports. Reviewer recommendations are advisory in nature; the final responsibility for accepting, requesting revision, or rejecting a manuscript rests with the editorial authority of the journal.
During the evaluation process, authors may be asked to revise their manuscripts in accordance with reviewer comments. Depending on the nature of the required changes, the editorial decision may involve minor revision or major revision. Authors are expected to address reviewer comments carefully and submit a revised version of the manuscript together with a reasoned response where necessary. If authors disagree with specific reviewer suggestions, they may present scholarly counterarguments supported by academic justification. Revised manuscripts may be returned to the reviewers for further evaluation when deemed necessary by the Editor-in-Chief or the Editorial Board.
The confidentiality of the peer review process is strictly protected. Manuscripts under review are treated as confidential documents and may not be shared, reproduced, discussed, or used for any purpose outside the evaluation process. Reviewers are required to declare any potential conflict of interest and must decline the review invitation if they are unable to provide an impartial and independent assessment. Editors are responsible for ensuring that the review process is conducted fairly, objectively, and without personal, institutional, political, commercial, or ideological influence.
The International Journal of Euroasian Researches applies the same peer review and editorial procedures to manuscripts submitted for regular issues and special issues. The journal publishes four issues annually, in March, June, September, and December. The average duration of the peer review process is between 2 and 7 months, depending on reviewer availability, the number of revision rounds, and the editorial workload.
The journal’s publication ethics, editorial responsibilities, reviewer responsibilities, and author responsibilities are grounded in internationally accepted standards, particularly those set by COPE. The editorial team is responsible for maintaining academic integrity, preventing publication misconduct, ensuring the quality of published content, and managing complaints, corrections, retractions, and ethical investigations when necessary.
The final publication decision is made independently by the Editor-in-Chief and the Editorial Board. Acceptance for publication is based solely on scholarly merit, originality, methodological quality, ethical compliance, relevance to the journal’s scope, and contribution to the relevant academic field. Financial, institutional, political, or personal considerations do not influence editorial decisions. The publication fee is requested only after a manuscript has successfully completed the peer review process and has been accepted for publication.
