Sakha (Yakut) language is considered to be a peripheral language with Chuvash language according to the research studies by Turkologists. Sakha Turkish, which is thought to have separated from proto-Turkic languages after the Chuvash language, intrinsically incorporates many archaic features. It is possible to observe that also in vocabulary.In this case, both the neighbour languages (Russian etc.) and the cognate languages to the Turkish languages (Mongolian, Japanese etc.) -for those who approve the theory of cognate languages- should be included in any research on Yakut language along with the historical and the modern dialects of the Turkish language. This paper aims to examine the origin of the third-person singular pronoun in Yakut language.
</trans-abstract>
