Eğitim Teknolojileri Sınırları - İç İçe Giren Kavramlar

Year 2024, Volume: 3 Issue: 2, 133 - 147, 31.12.2024

Abstract

Boundaries of Educational Technologies – Intertwining Concepts

Year 2024, Volume: 3 Issue: 2, 133 - 147, 31.12.2024

Abstract

The field of educational technologies is in a state of continuous change and development. It encompasses not only the selection and use of tools and processes but also the design of applications aimed at enhancing performance. Educational technology goes beyond the use of devices, including human factors, methodologies, and organizational elements. Its primary goal is to make learning more effective and to improve performance in various contexts. A historical review shows that the field has evolved through several stages, from visual and auditory tools to digital technologies, and now incorporates artificial intelligence and big data analytics. This interdisciplinary field emphasizes not only technological advancements but also ethical practices and its interactions with other disciplines. Defining the boundaries of educational technology is essential to creating more effective learning environments through a learner-centered approach and the appropriate integration of technology.
