In this article, data
regarding the role and impact of the media in the integration processes from
countries in Southeast Europe will be presented. Here, some of the most major
premises of the obligations from the countries of the Balkans in the fulfillment
of the criteria to be part of the European space will be specified, such as:
mechanisms in the prevention and combat of corruption, organized crime, stable
economy and free trade, freedom of human rights and ethnic minorities, freedom
of press and free movement, liberal and comprehensive constitution, rule of
law, democratic elections and governance. In all these processes, their
reporting and reflection from the media is undoubtedly influential, which
highlights and attributes to the public opinion the fulfillment and stumble of
these determining factors of the governments from the countries in Southeast
Europe, in order of being part of the European mechanisms.
