                                                                                                <abstract><p>Bu makale, karnabahar, Brüksel lahanası, beyaz lahana, havuç, pırasa ve marul gibi sebzelerin peletlenmiş ve normal tohumlarının çimlenme oranlarının karşılaştırılmasıyla ilgilidir. Deneme laboratuvar ve arazi koşullarında yürütülmüştür. Her bir sebzenin peletlenmiş ve normal tohumlarının çimlenme oranlarına ilişkin rakamlar Tablo 1&#039;de verilmiştir. Laboratuvar denemesinde, her bir sebzenin peletlenmiş ve çiğ (normal) tohumları arasındaki çıkış oranları, denemenin başlamasından sonraki üçüncü günde büyük farklılıklar göstermiştir. Ancak her bir sebzenin çıkış oranlarındaki bu farklılıklar, denemenin başlamasından 7 ve 12 gün sonra azalmaya başlamıştır. Denemenin üçüncü gününde en fazla fark peletlenmiş ve çiğ (normal) Brüksel lahanası tohumları (%55) arasında, en az fark ise peletlenmiş ve normal pırasa tohumları (%8) arasında bulunmuştur. Ancak laboratuvar denemesinin on ikinci gününde en fazla fark peletlenmiş ve çiğ (normal) marul tohumları arasında (%30) ve en az fark peletlenmiş ve çiğ (normal) beyaz lahana tohumları arasında (%3) idi. Geri kalan sebzelerin peletlenmiş ve çiğ (normal) tohumları arasındaki çıkış yüzdeleri laboratuvar denemesinin on ikinci gününde %3 ile %23 arasında değişti. Her sebzenin peletlenmiş ve çiğ (normal) tohumlarının çıkış yüzdeleri tablo 4&#039;te verilmiştir; peletlenmiş tohumların çıkış yüzdeleri daha düşük, %5-26 idi. En büyük fark peletlenmiş ve çiğ (normal) havuç tohumları arasında (%26) ve en düşük fark peletlenmiş ve çiğ (normal) karnabahar tohumları arasında (%5) idi. Diğer sebzelerin peletlenmiş tohumları daha az çıkış yüzdesi gösterdi, %7-12.</p></abstract>

                            <p>This article deals with the comparing of the germination rates of the pelleted and normal seed of vegetables, i.e. cauliflower, Brussel Sprouts, White Cabbage, Carrot, Leek and Lettuce. The trial was carried out under laboratory and field conditions. The figures concerning the germination rates of pelleted and normal seeds of each vegetable are given in table 1. In the laboratory trial, emergence rates between pelleted and raw (normal) seeds of each vegetable showed big differences on the third day after the start of the trial. But these differences in the emergence rates of each vegetable began to decrease 7 and 12 days after starting the trial. On the third day of the trial the most difference was established between pelleted and raw (normal) seeds of Brussel Sprouts (55%) and the lowest difference was between pelleted and normal seeds of leek (8%). However, on the twelfth day of the laboratory trial, the most difference was between pelleted and raw (normal) seeds of Lettuce (30%) and the lowest difference was between pelleted and raw (normal) seeds of white cabbage (3%). The percent emergence rates between pelleted and raw (normal) seed of the remaining vegetables differed from 3% to 23% on the twelfth day of the laboratory trial. The percentages of emerged pelleted and raw (normal) seed of each vegetable are given in table 4; the emergence percentages of pelleted seeds were lower, 5-26%. The biggest difference was between pelleted and raw (normal) seeds of carrot (26%) and the lowest difference was between pelleted and raw (normal) seeds of cauliflower (5%). The pelleted seeds of other vegetables showed less percent emergence reduction, 7-12%.</p></trans-abstract>
