                                                                                                <abstract><p>Tekirdağ Bağcılık Araştırma Enstitüsünde ele alınan bu araştırma ile üzüm çeşitlerinde (Vitis vinifera L.) stenospermik çekirdeksizliğin kalıtımı üzerinde çalışılmıştır. 22 muhtelif sofralık çekirdekli çeşitle stenospermokarpik tipteki (Sultani tipi) üç çekirdeksiz çeşit melezlenmiş ve 2371 F₁ ferdinden veri alınmıştır. F₁’lerin çekirdekli veya çekirdeksiz olarak ayırımında meyve çekirdeklerinin çimlenme durumuna bakılmış, çekirdekleri hiç çimlenmeyenler çekirdeksiz olarak tasnif edilmiştir. Bu sınıflamaya göre 1229 adet çekirdekli; 1142 adet çekirdeksiz fert tespit edilmiş ve döllerin dağılımı 1:1 oranına uyum sağlamıştır. Elde edilen bulgular stenospermik çekirdeksizliğin tek allel gen çifti tarafından kontrol edilen dominant bir vasıf olduğunu göstermektedir.</p></abstract>
                                                                                                                                    <trans-abstract xml:lang="en">
                            <p>Seedless grapes have played an ever-increasing role in their share of the world markets. Therefore, breeding for now seedless grapes has been main purpose of the vine breeders. Although there is a rather long experience in this subject, the inheritance of seed lessness is not clear. First of all, the definition of &quot;seedless&quot; is a variable concept covering many types and degrees of seed abortion. Depending on the subjective classification of seeded and seedless progeny, which differed from researcher-to-researcher inheritance of seed lessness has been postulated both dominant and recessive. This study was carried out in Tekirdağ. By crossing 22 different seeded table grapes with 3 seedless varieties. 1229 seeded, and 1142 seedless F₁ progeny was obtained. Segregation of the hybrids confirmed to the 1:1 ratio. Seeded and seedless classification was made according to the seed germination tests. Individuals had aborted seeds with no germination were selected as seedless. According to the results, distribution of the seeded and seedless progeny supported the conclusion that seed lessness was dominant and controlled by one allel gene pair.</p></trans-abstract>
