<p>In this research the effects of different storage systems on some quality parameters on Pink Lady apple cultivar that became popular on recent years during storage period. For this purpose, dynamic controlled atmosphere storage system, postharvest 1-Methylcyclopropene treatment and the combination of this treatment with this storage system were materialized on Pink Lady apple cultivar fruits harvested from Çanakkale. Treated fruits and untreated control fruits were stored at 0-1°C temperature and 90-95% relative humidity conditions for 60, 120, 180 and 240 days respectively. Whole fruits were kept at 20-22°C temperature and 90-95% relative humidity conditions for 7 days as shelf life. Some quality parameters such as flesh color development, fruit firmness, soluble solids content, malic acid content, total phenolic compound content and decay incidence were evaluated after harvest and each storage and shelf life period. According to the results, storage period was found significant on each quality parameter. Thus prolonged storage period caused quality losses. Furthermore, fruits that had higher quality were 1-Methylcyclopropene treated stored at dynamic controlled atmosphere. 1Methylcyclopropene treated fruits followed this combination.</p></trans-abstract>
