Erzurum şartlarında çerezlik kabak genotiplerinin adaptasyonu, verim ve kalitelerini belirlemek amacıyla yapılan çalışmada, 9 farklı genotipin bitki başına meyve verimi, meyve ve bitki başına tohum verimi, dekara tohum verimi, tohum büyüklüğü (bin dane ağırlığı) ve protein oranı gibi bazı kalite özellikleri incelenmiştir. Ayrıca, parametreler acısından yıl × genotip interaksiyonu değerlendirilmiştir. Araştırma sonuçlarına göre denemede kullanılan bütün genotiplerin Erzurum şartlarında rahatlıkla yetiştirilebileceği belirlenmiştir. Hınıs-2 genotipi meyve başına tohum verimi, dekara tohum verimi, tohum büyüklüğü ve protein oranı kriterlerinde vermiş olduğu değerlerle ön plana çıkmıştır. Tortum genotipi bitki başına meyve sayısı, bitki başına ve dekara tohum veriminde en iyi değerlere sahip olmuştur. Meyve şekli bakımından İran genotipi uzun (boy/çap>1.79), diğer genotipler yuvarlak (boy/çap1.80) sınıfında yer aldığı belirlenmiştir. Yıl × genotip interaksiyonu bakımından meyve boyu/çap oranı, tohum boyu/en oranı ve b* değeri istatistiki olarak çok önemli bulunmuştur.
This study was undertaken to determine adaptation, yield and quality of confectionary pumpkin genotypes and the research was conducted in open field conditions at the agricultural research area of Agriculture Faculty, Atatürk University, in 2012 and 2013. Nine different confectionary pumpkin genotypes obtained from Erzurum, Konya, Nevşehir and Iran were used as plant material. Parameters of fruit yield, average fruit weight, fruit figure, fruit number per pant, seed yield per fruit, seed yield per plant, seed yield per decare, seed performance, seed size (100 seed weight), seed fullness ratio, seed wet ratio, seed protein ratio, seed figure and seed color were determined in the genotypes. Also, year × genotypes interaction in terms of the parameters was evaluated. According to the research results, it can be said that all of the confectionary pumpkin genotypes were conveniently grown in Erzurum conditions. Tortum genotype had high fruit number per plant and seed yield per decare of Tortum genotype came into prominence even though seed yield per fruit was low. Iran genotype was length in terms of fruit figure (length/diameter>1.79) while the other genotypes had round fruit shape (length/diameter1.80). Year × genotypes interaction was significantly important in fruit length/diameter ratio, seed length/width ratio and b* value.
