BiH remains an important cosumer of fossil fuel energies, using both domestic (coal) and imported (petrol and gas) resources. BiH is also using renewable energy sources such as hydropower for electricity production and biomass mainly for heating and has strong potential to further develop other renewable sources of energies. It remains essential but also challenging for the country´s strategy to further maintaining functional ecosystems as an important natural capital . develop sustainable energy resources while
