                                                                                                <abstract><p>Opioidlerağrı tedavisinde sık kullanılmaktadır. Opioidlerin analjezik etkisinin yanındabazı yan etkileri de vardır. En yaygın görülen ve hastalar tarafındantanımlanan en rahatsız edici yan etkisi konstipasyondur. Hastaların yaşamkalitesini ve tedaviye uyumunu olumsuz yönde etkileyen konstipasyon, sağlıkbakım maliyetlerini arttırmakta, hastanede kalış süresini uzatmakta, hastanebaşvurularını arttırmakta, tedavi dozlarının atlanmasına, azaltılmasına hattatedavinin sonlanmasına neden olabilmektedir. Konstipasyon yönetiminde laksatif,lavman, opioid reseptör antagonistleri gibi farmakalojik yaklaşımlar, hasta eğitimi, sıvı ve lif alımını arttırma,egzersiz, abdominal masaj gibi nonfarmakolojik yaklaşımlar önerilmektedir.Ancak literatürde opioid ilişkili konstipasyon yönetiminde etkili bir bakımprotokolü tanımlanamamıştır. Literatür verileri ışığında, opioid ilaç tedavisiolan hastalar mutlaka rutin olarak konstipasyon açısından değerlendirilmeli veopioid ilişkili konstipasyon yönetimine yönelik klinik protokolleroluşturulmalıdır. Sağlık bakım ekibi opioid ilişkili konstipasyon ve yönetimikonusunda bilgilendirilmelidir. Opioid ilişkili konstipasyon yönetiminde yeralan yaklaşımların etkinliğini değerlendirecek randomize kontrollü çalışmalaragereksinim vardır. Bu derleme, sağlık ekibinin opioid ilişkili konstipasyonayönelik bilgi düzeylerinin ve farkındalığının arttırılması amacıylayapılmıştır.</p></abstract>
