Events such as natural disasters, wars, and terrorduring the history of mankind have caused people to leave places they live andto be refugees. A refugee is a person who loses confidence in his state byfeeling under pressure because of race, religion, social status, politicalthought or national identity and who leaving his country to seek asylum inanother country and this request is accepted by that country as in the beliefthat his own state will not act impartially. More than half of the world'srefugees are children. In recent years there has been a huge increase in thenumber of refugees due to the changing world order. Turkey has become the hostcountry of the largest refugee population because of its geographical locationand cultural relations and historical associations. The purpose of this articleis to present the problems experienced by their children in the light ofcurrent literature who are a refugee for various reasons such as naturaldisasters or wars. A large majority of refugees in Turkey as they came fromSyria, the problems of the Syrian children has examined by taking scientificresearch and statistics so graphics were created with the findings obtainedfrom statistical data.
İnsanlık tarihi boyunca doğal felaketler, savaşlar ve terörgibi olaylar insanların yaşadıkları yerleri terk ederek mülteci durumunagelmelerine neden olmuştur. Mülteci; ülkesindeırk, din, sosyal konum, siyasal düşünce ya da ulusal kimliği nedeniyle kendisinibaskı altında hissederek kendi devletine olan güvenini kaybeden, kendidevletinin ona tarafsız davranmayacağını düşüncesi ile ülkesini terk edip,başka bir ülkeyesığınmatalebindebulunan ve bu talebi o ülke tarafından'kabul'edilen kişidir. Dünyadabulunan mültecilerin yarısından fazlasını çocuklar oluşturmaktadır.Son yıllarda değişen dünya düzeni nedeni ile mültecisayısında çok büyük artış olmuştur. Türkiye coğrafi konumu, kültürel vetarihsel ilişkileri nedeniyle en büyük mülteci nüfusuna ev sahipliği yapan ülkekonuma gelmiştir.Bu makalenin amacı, doğal felaketler ya da savaşlar gibiçeşitli nedenler ile mülteci durumda olan çocuklarının yaşadığı sorunlarıgüncel literatür ışığında sunmaktır. Türkiye’de bulunan mültecilerin büyük bir çoğunluğuSuriye’den geldiği için Suriyeli çocukların yaşadığı sorunlar bilimselaraştırmalar, istatistiki veriler ele alınarak incelenmiş, istatistikiverilerden elde edilen bulgularla grafikler oluşturulmuştur.
