Abstract
Bu makalede, on dokuzuncu yüzyılın en ünlü piyano virtüözleri Sigismund Thalberg ile Louis Moreau Gottschalk’ın müzik kariyerleri, piyano çalma stilleri, özellikleri ve en önemli eserleri yorumculuk açısından incelenmiştir. Ayrıca ikisini karşılaştırarak müzik tarihindeki önemleri, piyanist- virtüöz- besteci kimliklerinden yola çıkarak benzerlikler ve farklılıkları ortaya konmuştur

Abstract
This article researches the music careers, playing styles, playing specialities and interpretations of the most important pieces of Sigismund Thalberg and Loius Moreau Gottschalk the two most famous piano virtuosis of the nineteenth century. In addition, by comparing the two virtuosos to each other, their similarities and differences in music history as pianist/ virtuoso/ composer are being put forward
