Ferhat Uzunkaya who graduated from Ardahan University, Department of Contemporary Turkish Dialects and Literatures in 2013, started to work as a Research Assistant in the same department in 2015. He completed his master's degree with his study "Structure and themes in narratives İsmail Gaspıralı's" (2017) and his doctorate with the thesis "Alienation in Turkish novel after 1980" (2020) at the Institute of Social Sciences of Ardahan University. In addition to Modern Turkish Literature, Novel Theory and Literary Theories are his main fields of study. In addition to his scientific articles published in various national and international journals, he also has papers presented in various countries.In addition, He contributed to the "Turkish Literature Dictionary of Names (TEIS)" project, prepared in partnership with the Ahmet Yesevi University and Ministry of Culture and Tourism, writing 11 encyclopedic articles.  Between 2011 and 2012, he studied at the Turkology Department of Kyrgyzstan-Turkey Manas University within the scope of the "Mevlana Exchange Program" and became the first representative of the program in Turkey. He worked at Maltepe University between 2016-2017 to carry out academic studies under the supervision of Prof. Ramazan Korkmaz. Ferhat Uzunkaya, who works as a faculty member in the Department of Turkish Language and Literature at the Faculty of Humanities and Letters at Ardahan University, also works as the Assistant Editor of BELGU Journal.
