Abstract

Ege Bölgesinde en çok üretilen üç turşuluk hıyar çeşidi (Levina, Fancipak, Regal) üzerinde, zararlılara karşı ilaçlama programı uygulanması amacıyla İzmir (Bornova)'de 16.4.1990 tarihinde bir deneme açılmıştır. Her parselde 3 çeşit 10'ar ocak olarak yeralmıştır. Thiodan ve Furadan ile yapılan toprak ilaçlamalarından sonra ayni gün ocaklara fideler dikilmiştir. Sayımlara zararlıların görülmeye başladığı 1.5.1990 tarihinden itibaren haftada bir olmak üzere, hasat sonuna kadar devam edilmiştir. Sayımlar, her çeşitten 6 yaprakta ve yaprak başına 2'şer cm2 lik alanda yapılmıştır. Sayımlarda, Yaprak biti, Kırmızıörümcek, Beyazsinek ve Thripsler kaydedilmiş ve ekonomik zarar eşiğine ulaşılan yoğunluklarda ilaçlama yapılmıştır. Sonuç olarak, Thiodan ile başlatılan ilaçlama programıının Furudan'a göre tercih edilmesinin uygun olacağı görüşüne varılmıştır. Ayrıca, turşuluk hıyardaki zararlılara karşı kullanılan Thiodan, Malathion, Actellic, Polytrin ve Neoron'un üründeki kalıntı miktarları araştırılmıştır. Bu amaçla, 6 karakter ve 3 tekerrürlü olarak açılan denemede, ilaçlamadan 1 gün ve 7 gün sonra alınan örneklerdeki kalıntı miktarları, Polytrin'in ilaçlamadan 1 gün son-raki örneklerdeki kalıntı miktarı hariç, tolerans değerlerinin altında bulunmuştur.

Ege bölgesinde yetiştirilen turşuluk hıyar bitkisindeki zararlılara karşı mücadele programının uygulaması ve kullanılan bazı preparatların üründeki kalıntı miktarları üzerinde araştırmalar.

Abstract

The three cucumber varieties (Levina, Fancipak, Regal) which are widely-grown in the Aegean Region were tested in order to develop a spraying program against the pests. For this purpose an experiment was set up in 16.4.1990 in Bornova, İzmir. The three varieties were placed as 10 beds in each plot. Following a soil treatment made by Furadan and Thiodan the seedlings were planted out on some day. The counting were made from the first appearing of the pests (1.5.1990) to the end of harvest with weekly intervals by checking on the 2 cm2 area on the total of 6 leaves belonging to the each variety. In these counting the number of aphids, spider mites, whiteflies and Thrips were recorded and sprayings were made at the density of inuisance threshold. As for the results, the treatment program by Thiodan against the pest was preferred than Furadan. Another experiment was conducted in order to determine the residue levels of the widely-used pesticides such as Thiodan, Malathion, Actellic, Polytrin and Neoron. The samplings were made at the beginning of the harvest following 1 day and 7 days of the application by taking a total of 2 kg samples from each plot (1 kg fresh, 1 kg can). Analysis were made by Plant Protection Institute of Ankara and as for the result of these analysis only Polytrin resulted  high residue (0,368 ppm) on the fresh samples taken 1 day after the application as compared with tolerance level (0,2 ppm). However this case arises no problem within the period from the harvest to the market and consumers. The residue levels of the other pesticides tested were found lower than the tolerance levels and thus it was concluded that these pesticides may be used in the control of the pests of pickling cucumber.
