Abstract

Hububat hortumluböceği [Pachytychius hordei (Brullé) (Col.:Curculioni-dae)] ergin sürveylerinde kullanılmakta olan sayım yöntemi (ergin/m2) yerine atrapla sayımın uygulanabilirliğini amaçlayan bu çalışma, Sivrihisar (Eskişehir)'da 1995-1996 Yıllarında yürütülmüştür. Elde edilen bulgulara göre 10 atrapta ve m2'deki ergin sayıları arasında istatistiki bir ilişkinin varlığı belirlenmiştir (rxy=0.940). 10 atraptaki ergin sayıları “xâ€? ile m2'deki birey sayısı “yâ€? arasında yapılan hesaplamalar sonucu ilişki anlamlı bulunmuş ve regresyon tahmin denklemi y= 4.84+0.768x olarak bulunmuştur. Belirli meteorolojik koşullara uyulmak suretiyle zararlı yoğunluğunun belirlenmesinde m2 yöntemi yerine atrap yönteminin kullanılabileceği belirlenmiştir. Bu yöntemin, uygulama ve araştırma çalışmalarında daha güvenilir olduğu gibi, büyük kolaylıklar da sağlayacağı kanısına varılmıştır.

Abstract

This study which aims to be applied of sweep net counting method in the survey of Pachytychius hordei (Col.:Curculionidae) adult population was carried out in Sivrihisar county of Eskişehir province in 1995-1996 years. According to findings, statistical connection was determinated between the number of P.hordei at square meter (m2) and 10 sweep net. This connection was evaluated as important. The regression estimation equation was found as y= 4.84+0.768x. It was determinated to could be use of the sweep net counting method instead of square meter (m2) method taking into consideration the weather conditions. Also if is accepted that; this method can be safely and easily used in research and application studies.
