Effect of <em>Trichoderma harzianum</em> rifai KRL AG2 to control root rot disease (<em>Rhizoctonia solani, Fusarium solani</em>) of cucumber in protected crops

Abstract

In this study fungicide effect of biological agent Trichoderma harzianum, was tested against to root rot disease (Rhizoctonia solani, Fusarium solani) infectious on cucumber grown in greenhouses. The experiments were carried out in plastic greenhouses belong to individual growers in 2 districts of Mersin in 2008.

3 dosages of Trichoderma harzianum rifai KRL AG2 (Rootshield Granules), (550, 650, 750 g/m3) were applied to planting mix of the seedlings. Colonization of the roots by T. harzianum on growing seedlings were provided along a month. Following the application, seedlings were transplanted in naturally infested greenhouses of the growers. The success of the application were evaluated 2 months after the transplanted seedlings. Uprooted plants were controlled for the infections occured by the root rot disease. There found c. 60% of effect against disease incidence  comparing to the control plots which have no application. However, no statistical difference were found at 650 and 750 g/m3 dosages of T. harzianum.

Örtüaltı yetiştiriciliğinde hıyar kök çürüklüğü hastalığına (Rhizoctonia solani, Fusarium solani) karşı Trichoderma harzianum rifai KRL AG2’nin etkisinin belirlenmesi

Abstract

Bu çalışmada serada yetiştirilen hıyar bitkilerinde önemli verim kayıplarına
yol açan kök çürüklüğü hastalığına (Rhizoctonia solani, Fusarium solani) karşı
Trichoderma harzianum içeren biyolojik fungisitin etkisi testlenmiştir. Denemeler
2008 yılında Mersin ilinin 2 beldesinde üreticiye ait plastik seralarda
yürütülmüştür.
Biyolojik fungisitin , Trichoderma harzianum rifai KRL AG2 etkili
maddeli Rootshield Granules, 3 dozu (550, 650, 750 g/m3
) fide harcına uygulanarak 1 ay boyunca gelişen fide köklerini kolonize etmesi sağlanmış ve
patojenlerle doğal olarak bulaşık üretici serasına dikim yapılmıştır. Dikimden
yaklaşık 2 ay sonra kökler sökülerek hastalık değerlendirmesi yapılmıştır.
Biyolojik fungisitin 650 ve 750g/m3
dozlarının uygulanmasıyla elde edilen
sonuçlar arasında istatistiki bir farklılık bulunmamış ve uygulama yapılmayan
parsellere göre hastalık çıkışında yaklaşık %60 etki sağlandığı belirlenmiştir.
