Kedi ve Köpeklerde Travmatik Hernia Diyaframatika: 40 Olgu

Abstract

Sunulan bu retrospektif çalışmada, S.Ü. Veteriner Fakültesi, cerrahi kliniğine 2017-2020 yılları arasında travmatik hernia diyaframatika teşhisi konulan hastaların, travma nedenlerini, herniorafi uygulandıktan sonra morbidite ve sağ kalımı oranlarını, fıtıklaşan organların sayısı ve oranının belirlenmesi amaçlanmıştır. Çalışma materyalini solunum yetmezliği, trafik kazası ve yüksekten düşme şikâyeti ile getirilen 37 kedi ve 3 köpek oluşturdu. Yapılan direkt radyografik muayene sonucu hernia diyaframatika teşhisi konuldu. Alınan anamneze göre olguların %54’ü trafik kazası, %29’u yüksekten düşmeye bağlı olduğu belirlenirken, %16’sının nedeni tespit edilemedi. Göğüs boşluğuna fıtıklaşan organların %81’ini karaciğer (30 olgu), %43’ünü mide (16 olgu), %35’ini ince bağırsak (13 olgu), %13’ünü omentum (5 olgu) ve %13’ünü pankreas (5 olgu) oluşturdu. Operasyon sonrası hastaların durumu değerlendirildiğinde olguların %29’u çok iyi (11 olgu), %40’ı iyi (15 olgu) ve %29’u (11 olgu) ex olduğu belirlendi. Sonuç olarak; hernia diyaframatika olgularında cerrahi müdahaleden önceki travma süresi, cerrahi uygulama tekniği ve postoperatif dönemdeki medikal tedaviler başarı oranlarını arttırmaktadır.
