WRITING PRINCIPLES AND RULES

WARNING: Our journal article process processes are carried out entirely through DERGİPARK and the author must have ORCID.


1. The similarity report must be uploaded to the system by the author of the works submitted for publication. After all the processes of the uploaded article are completed, a report is received by the journal by using the İthenticate plagiarism program. The rate of plagiarism (similarity) is 20% and the similarity rate obtained from a source must be at most 3%.

2. In studies submitted to the journal, it is required to comply with national and international ethical rules and research and publication ethics. In addition, ICMJE (International Committee of Medical Journal Editors) recommendations and COPE (Committee on Publication Ethics) '' International Standards for Editors and Authors' should be taken into consideration.

3. In the studies, the spelling rules of TDV Islamic Encyclopedia (DİA) are taken as a basis.

Title:

4. It should be compatible with the content and written in Turkish and English in bold and lowercase letters.

Author Information:

5. The author's name-surname, title, institution and e-mail address, ORCID number should be written under the title of the article.

Summary:

6. At the beginning of each article, Turkish and English abstracts should be written in 9-point Palatino Linotype with a minimum of 150 words and a maximum of 200 words. Arabic and Ottoman abstracts should be 13 points. In the abstract, the sources used, figures and table numbers should not be mentioned.

7. Keywords consisting of 5 words should be given under the abstract. Abstracts and keywords should comply with international standards. Example: TR Directory Key Terms List, Medical Subject Headings, CAB Thesaurus, JISCT, ERIC, etc. Resources such as.

8. A line after the keywords should include the title, abstract, and English of the keywords.

9. The abstract should be written as Abstract, Abstract in English and Keywords should be adjacent.

Main Text:

10. Manuscripts should be written in A4 size in MS Word program. Page size, typeface, line spacing, paragraph spacing and indentation should be: Top: 5.4 cm; Left: 4.5 cm; Bottom: 5.4 cm; Right: 4.5 cm; Character: Palatino Linotype (Abstract: 9, main text: 10, footnote: 8 font size); Line spacing: Exact, Value: 14 nk (Footnote: Exact, Value: 12 nk); Paragraph spacing: before: 0 pt; after: 3 nk (Footnote: before: 0 nk, then: 0 nk) should be used. There should be 0.5 cm indent (Footnote: None) at the beginning of the paragraph.

11. Traditional Arabic font (Abstract: 13, main text 14, footnote 12 font size) should be used in Arabic and Ottoman articles. Line spacing: Single (Footnote: Multiple, Value: 0.8), Paragraph spacing: before: 0 pt; After: 3 pt (Footnote: First: 0 pt, then: 0 pt) should be used. There should be 0.5 cm indent (Footnote: None) at the beginning of the paragraph. In Arabic phrases in Turkish articles, the Traditional Arabic font (main text 14, footnote 12 font size) should be used.

12. The sections that should be highlighted in the text should be written in italics. It should not be bold or underlined.

13. It should be given from the first page starting from Page Number 1.

Section Titles:

14. In the article, titles can be numbered or used as main, intermediate and subtitles without using letters to provide a regular information transfer. Primary (main) titles are bold; secondary (intermediate) titles are bold and italic; tertiary (sub) headings should be written in italic only.

Tables, Figures, and Pictures:


15. If there are any tables, graphics, pictures etc. objects should not exceed 12x18 cm in width, which is the layout of the page.

16. Tables and figures should have numbers and titles and should be centered at the bottom. Titles should be written in italics, with the first letter of each word capitalized. Tables should be where they should be in the text. Figures should be prepared in accordance with black and white printing.

17. Figures, charts, and pictures should not exceed 10 pages (one-third of the text).

18. Copies of original texts or PDF format should be added to translation, simplification and transcription articles. In addition, book cover art should be added to the book promotions and evaluations in JPEG format.

19. The volume of the articles sent to the journal should not exceed 8000 words with the bibliography and footnotes. If the volume of any article exceeds this upper limit, the decision of the editor is valid.

20. The sources used in the use of footnotes should be given in the place where they were first used, with the full tag, and in the following places, as appropriate, and added to the bibliography at the end of the study.

21. Footnotes should be arranged according to the sequential number system at the bottom of the page and the ISNAD Citation System should be followed.

22. In Arabic work titles, the initials of the first word and special nouns should be written in capital letters and the others should be written in lowercase letters. Persian, English, etc. The initials of each word of works in other foreign languages ​​and written in Ottoman Turkish should be capitalized. For works with multiple authors and authors, commas must be placed after each person's name.

23. Verses should be written in italic character, and their reference should be given in order of order (surah name sura no / verse no). Example: al-Bakara 2/10.

24. The reference method, which is famous in the hadith field of the relevant work, should be used in hadith books. Example: Bukhari, "Faith", 1.

25. The date of use should be specified in Internet resources.

26. Footnote reference numbers should be placed after punctuation marks.

27. Manuscripts submitted to the journal should have a "Bibliography" at the end, references should be written in Latin Alphabet and care should be taken for accessibility.

28. Bibliography should be arranged alphabetically according to the surname of the author.

29. ISNAD Citation System and APA should be used for citation.

30. The title of the bibliography should be written as "Bibliography".

31. The bibliography should be sorted according to the surname and alphabetical order.

32. Articles written in Arabic must have a bibliography in the absolute "Latin" alphabet at the end.

33. The bibliography should be uploaded to the dergipark system and after the uploading, a space (ENTER) should be left between each source.

34. If there are two or more references belonging to the same author, the line (----) should not be used in the second and subsequent references. It should have a surname and first name as it was written first.
