SPECIAL PRODUCER SELECTION PROBLEM IN FOOD INDUSTRY WITH THREE DIFFERENT TECHNIQUES WITH TRIANGULAR NUMBERS: CASE FROM TURKEY

Abstract

Cacao is a very
valuable crop as a cash. Because it is a important exportation crop for producing
countries and is a critical importation for consuming countries which can not
produce cacao because their unsuitable climate conditions. We suggested a model
for choosing the appropriate cacao producer for our chocolate firm in Turkey by
applying multi-criteria decision making (MCDM) methods: Analytic hierarchy
process (AHP), Analytic network process (ANP) and VIKOR based on linguistic
variables under fuzzy environment in this paper. All three methods are
suggested to be used in our proposed hierarchical model. Firstly, fuzzy AHP
methodology is used for analyzing the 4 main criterion and 14 sub-criterion;
secondly fuzzy ANP methodology is applied for representing the
inter-relationships among these main criterion and the last methodology, VIKOR,
is used to find out a compromise solution. The proposed model is explained by
illustrative example, all comparisons and evaluations are made with triangular
numbers with fuzzy sets and final results of fuzzy AHP, fuzzy ANP and VIKOR are
tested for
comparability.

ÜRETİCİ SEÇİM PROBLEMİ: TÜRK GIDA SEKTÖRÜNDEN BİR ÖRNEK

Abstract

Kakao oldukça değerli bir tarım ürünüdür. Üretildiği bölgelerdeki iklim koşulları nedeniyle oldukça dar bir alanda üretilerek dünyaya dağıtılan kakao bu ülkeler için ciddi bir gelir kaynağıdır. Bu noktada Türkiye'de hizmet veren bir gıda firması için Dünya genelinde uygun ortamın sağlanarak kaliteli kakao üretiminin yapıldığı üreticilerden en uygun olanın seçilebilmesi için bir model önerilmiştir. En uygun kakao üreticisi seçim problemi için kurulan model çok kriterli karar verme yöntemlerinden Analitik Hiyerarşi Prosesi, Analitik Ağ Prosesi ve VIKOR yöntemleri ile bulanık mantık çerçevesi içerisinde üçgensel sayılar ile çözümlenmiştir. Önerilen çözüm yöntemlerinde önce kurulan model kriterleri bulanık AHP ile değerlendirilmiş, ardından kriterlerin kendi içlerindeki ilişkileri ortaya koyan bulanık ANP yöntemi ile çözüm bulunmuş ve son olarak VIKOR yöntemi kullanılarak üç farklı yöntemle bulunan sonuçlar karşılaştırılarak kakao ihtiyacı olan gıda firması için en uygun kakao üretici seçilmiştir.
