The checklist demonstrating compliance with CAKUJTS's The Principles of Transparency and Best Practice in Scholarly Publishing is as follows:

JOURNAL CONTENT

1. Journal Name

The full name of the journal is Çankırı Karatekin University Journal of Turkology Studies. The commonly used abbreviation of the journal is CAKUJTS. (Turkish: ÇAKÜTAD) (CAKUJTS, ISSN/e-ISSN: 2792-0631)

2. Internet Address
The official website of the journal is: https://dergipark.org.tr/tr/pub/cakutad. All scientific and technical updates regarding the journal are provided through the Dergipark infrastructure to ensure a transparent and principled publication process.

3. Publishing Schedule

CAKJTS is published twice a year, in June and December.

4. Internet Archive Address and Access Policy

Articles published by CAKUJTS are archived through the Dergipark system. Articles published in this journal are also digitally archived in LOCKSS.

From an institutional archive perspective, it is possible to access the journal's published full-text files free of charge and with open access via the address https://cakutad.karatekin.edu.tr/. Readers have the right to read, download, copy, distribute, search, or link to the full texts of published articles without requiring permission from the publisher or author.

The views expressed in the works published by the Çankırı Karatekin University Journal of Turkology Studies (CAKUJTS) and any responsibility for these opinions belong to the author(s). JOURNAL PRACTICES

7. Publication Ethics and Policy

CAKUJTS expects all partners to fulfill the ethical responsibilities outlined below within the scope of publication ethics. The ethical duties and responsibilities outlined in CAKUJTS have been prepared in accordance with the guidelines and policies published by the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE), WAME, and DOAJ, which are available in open access.
For articles submitted to the journal, the “Ethics Committee Report” must also be submitted for studies requiring an “Ethics Committee Report.” Research involving human and animal subjects requires ethics committee approval. The responsibility for the “Ethics Statement” report lies with the author. In the event of an ethical violation, CAKUJTS reserves the right to retract the work and initiate legal proceedings. For translated articles, a “Translation Permission Certificate” indicating that permission has been obtained from the author is required. The document can be obtained from the system or submitted in a format prepared by the author.

8. Peer Review

Articles published by CAKUJTS undergo a three-stage process consisting of Preliminary Review, Scientific Evaluation, and Preparation for Publication. Double-blind peer review is conducted in accordance with the principles of confidentiality and impartiality. Author information is concealed by the field editor before being sent to the rewiever. Care is taken to ensure that reviewers have no institutional or personal connection with the author when they are assigned.

9. Access

CAKUJTS is an open access and free journal. Anyone interested can access the published articles free of charge.

BUSINESS PRACTICES

13. Author Fees

CAKUJTS does not charge fees for articles to be published. In addition, authors are not paid any fees in exchange for publication.

14. Revenue

CAKUJTS has no publication revenue. DOI and web services are provided by TÜBİTAK-ULAKBİM through Dergipark sponsorship; any other potential expenses are covered by Çankırı Karatekin University.

15.Advertising

CAKUJTS does not accept advertisements. However, academic promotion and news activities (e.g., book reviews) are not considered within this scope.

16.  Marketing

ÇAKÜTAD is a non-profit organization. Accordingly, it doesn't engage any marketing techniques.
