The Çanakkale Research Turkish Yearbook (ÇATY) Journal applies a blind peer review system during the article evaluation stages in accordance with the principles of impartiality and objectivity.

The article process of the ÇATY Journal is as follows: Authors submit their work via the DergiPark system, provided that it complies with ÇATY writing rules and adheres to academic ethical principles.

Submitted works are reviewed by the editor during the preliminary evaluation stage. Here, it is determined whether the works are suitable for the purpose, scope, and format of the ÇATY Journal.

Manuscripts deemed suitable by the editor are included in the peer review process. The editor sends the relevant manuscripts to at least two expert reviewers in the field (and a third reviewer if deemed necessary). The reviewers examine the manuscripts in terms of originality, methodology, findings and results, and contribution to the literature, and upload their reports to the DergiPark system online.  Once the reviewers' evaluations are complete, the editor shares the results with the authors and requests that any suggestions/revisions indicated by the reviewers be implemented.  The revised work is resubmitted to the editor via the DergiPark system. (If the reviewer(s) wish to see the revisions again, the editor submits the relevant work to the reviewer for approval.) The editor reviews the revisions and makes the final decision. Thus, works deemed suitable for publication are published in the relevant volume and issue of the ÇATY Journal.
