Intraorbital Wooden Foreign Body With Spontaneous Extrusion

Abstract

A fifteen-years-old boy with transorbital penetrating coused by a tree branch. Urgent CT of the orbits did not reveal any foreign bodies. The patient underwent exploration. Intraorbital foreign body not found. Intravenous antibiotic treatment was started by pediatric infectious diseases for two weeks. There was spontaneous extrusion of a wooden foreign body through medial cantus two months later after injuries.
