Çanakkale Boğazı’ndan Toplanan Yassı İstiridyelerin (Ostrea edulis L., 1758) Et Verimi ve Kondisyon İndeksi

Abstract

Bu çalışmada, Çanakkale Boğazı’nda doğal yataklara
sahip olan yassı istiridyenin (Ostrea
edulis
L., 1758) et verimi ve kondisyon indeksi tespit edilmiştir.
Örneklemeler, 12 ay süre ile (Eylül 2012 – Ağustos 2013) aylık olarak
yapılmıştır. Örnekleme süresince deniz suyu sıcaklığı, tuzluluk, çözünmüş
oksijen ve klorofil-a gibi çevresel faktörlerin değişimleri de izlenmiştir.
Deniz suyu sıcaklığı Mart ayında en düşük (8,8ºC), Temmuz ayında en yüksek
(24,9ºC) bulunmuştur. Ortalama klorofil-a, çözünmüş oksijen ve tuzluluk
değerleri sırasıyla 1,99±0,54 μg/l, 7,86±0,07 mg/l ve 23,81±0,05 ppt olarak
belirlenmiştir. İstiridyelerin ortalama et verimi ve kondisyon indeksi
değerleri sırasıyla 11,53±0,56 ve 56,49±0,44 olarak belirlenmiş, Nisan ve Mayıs
aylarında en yüksek bulunmuştur. Kondisyon indeksine göre üreme zamanı, Nisan-Mayıs ve Ağustos-Eylül olarak tespit
edilmiştir.
