Sağlık Çalışanlarının Öznel İyi Oluşlarının Yordayıcıları: Özsaygı Ve Başa Çıkma Araştırması

Year 2022, Volume: 2 Issue: 2, 98 - 111, 29.12.2022

Abstract

Çalışmanın amacı, sağlık çalışanlarının öznel iyi oluşlarının yordayıcıları başa çıkma ve öz saygının incelenmesi hedeflenmiştir. Ayrıca demografik değişkenler açısından öznel iyi oluşun farklılaşıp farklılaşmadığı incelenmiştir. İlişkisel tarama modelinin kullanıldığı bu çalışma 200 sağlık personeli üzerinde yürütülmüştür. Katılımcılara kişisel bilgi formu, İki boyutlu benlik saygısı ölçeği, yaşam doyum ölçeği, pozitif negatif duygu ölçeği ve kötümserliği aktive eden olaylarla-durumlarla başa çıkma ölçeği uygulanmıştır. Katılımcıların 135’i (%67.5) kadın, 65’i (%32.5) erkek sağlık çalışanlarından oluşmaktadır.

Predictors of the subjective well being of health workers: Self-esteem and Coping research

Year 2022, Volume: 2 Issue: 2, 98 - 111, 29.12.2022

Abstract

The aims of this study is to examine the predictive effects of coping and self-esteem on subjective well being of health workers. In addition, it was examined whether the subjective well being significantly differed according to some demographic variables. In the study in which the relational descriptive model was used, the research group consists of 200 individuals, 32.5% male (n = 65) and 67.5% (n = 135) female. The research data were collected using the Coping For Pessimism Activated Events-Situations scale, Possitive and Negative Affect scale, the Self Esteem scale, the Satisfaction With Life scale and a personal information form developed by the researcher. As a result of the Student's t test, it was found that the subjective well-being levels of health workers did not differ in terms of demographic variables. As a result of regression analysis, it was found that coping For Pessimism Activated Events-Situations scale and self-liking scale which is a sub-dimension of self-esteem scale, predicted subjective well-being and explained 43% of the change in subjective well-being. As a result of the findings obtained, it is necessary to strengthen the coping skills and self-esteem of health workers in order to increase their happiness. The place to be developed in the psychoeducation and group activities to be developed is important in terms of both individual and social benefit.
