Sivas Cumhuriyet University Journal of Engineering Faculty (CUMFAD) is an international scientific journal that adopts the principle of publishing the latest contributions of national and international scientists to the literature. It operates under Sivas Cumhuriyet University Engineering Faculty and aims to publish original scientific research studies of researchers and practitioners from all over the world, proven by analytical, experimental and numerical methods.
Sivas Cumhuriyet University Journal of Engineering Faculty is a free and open-access, peer-reviewed scientific journal that publishes high-quality research in all fields of engineering. The journal is published electronically twice a year, in June and December. Manuscripts submitted to the journal must be original, must not have been published previously, and must not be under consideration for publication elsewhere. The journal accepts the following manuscript types:
Research Article: Research articles must present original theoretical, computational, experimental, or applied research findings that contribute significantly to scientific knowledge and engineering practice. The manuscript should provide sufficient methodological and technical details to ensure the reproducibility of the reported work. Original data, experimental results, simulations, analytical developments, or theoretical calculations must be clearly presented and discussed. The study must demonstrate a novel contribution to the relevant field and its practical or theoretical applications.
Review Article: Review articles must provide a comprehensive, critical, and up-to-date assessment of the literature in a specific research area. Beyond summarizing previous studies, authors should synthesize existing knowledge, identify research trends and gaps, and offer critical insights into future directions. Review articles must include a comprehensive and relevant reference list. In addition, authors are required to present original tables and figures prepared by themselves and include a dedicated Results and Discussion section containing novel analyses, classifications, comparisons, frameworks, or perspectives that add value beyond a conventional literature survey.
