Lymphedema arises primarily from abnormal lymphatic development or secondarily from injury to lymphatic tissues, with trauma being a common contributing factor. Although joint hypermobility can make individuals more susceptible to trauma-related complications, post-traumatic lymphedema has not previously been reported. Here, we describe an adolescent patient who developed post-traumatic lymphedema in association with joint hypermobility.
