Supply Chain Transparency Analysis in Automobile Industry

Year 2025, Volume: 17 Issue: 1, 156 - 176, 30.06.2025

Abstract

This study examines the effects of supply chain transparency (SCT) in the automotive sector. The aim of the research is to determine the operational and strategic impacts of SCT on companies within the automotive industry. Qualitative research methods were employed in the study. Data were collected using semi-structured interviews and observation techniques. During the analysis process, "content analysis" and a "triple thematic coding method" were utilized. The results revealed that SCT provides companies with a competitive advantage, fosters customer loyalty, and positively influences sales.
The findings indicate that SCT enhances companies’ competitiveness, strengthens customer trust, and contributes positively to sales performance. However, it was also determined that in cases of misuse, SCT may lead to negative outcomes in capital flow. The development of digital technologies emerges as a critical element supporting transparency processes. As a result, SCT is regarded not only as a source of competitive advantage but also as a vital component of sustainable growth for companies.

Otomotiv Sektöründe Tedarik Zinciri Şeffaflığının Analizi

Year 2025, Volume: 17 Issue: 1, 156 - 176, 30.06.2025
