Bu araştırma ebeveynlerin çocuk haklarına yönelik farkındalıklarının incelenmesi için gerçekleştirilmiştir. Örneklem grubu 30 yetişkin bireyden oluşmaktadır. Bireylerin yaşları en düşük 28 ve en yüksek 45 yaşlar arasında değişmektedir. Çalışmaya katılan ebeveynlerin eğitim düzeyi ilkokul, ortaokul, lise, üniversite ve lisansüstü olarak tespit edilmiştir. Araştırma yöntemi için nitel araştırma yöntemi ve fenomenolojik desen kullanılmıştır. Araştırma için gerekli izinler ve etik kurul onayı araştırmacı tarafından alınmıştır. Araştırmacı tarafından hazırlanan yarı yapılandırılmış görüşme formu aracılığı ile katılımcılar ile yüz yüze iletişim kurularak veriler toplanmıştır. Araştırmanın verileri içerik analizi yöntemi ile değerlendirilmiştir. Araştırmacı tarafından yapılan analizler sonucunda çocuk hakları tanımı değişkeninde en fazla frekansa sahip olan kategori çocuğa hukukun sunduğu haklar, çocukların hangi haklara sahip olduğu değişkenine ilişkin en fazla kategori eğitim hakkı, çocuklara çocuk haklarının öğretilmesi değişkeninde en fazla frekansa sahip olan kategori öğretmenleri, çocuk hakları öğretme yöntemi değişkeninde en fazla frekansa sahip olan kategori ise konuşma yöntemi olarak tespit edilmiştir.
This research was conducted to examine parents' awareness of children's rights. The sample group consists of 30 adults. The ages of the individuals ranged from the lowest 28 to the highest 45 years. The education level of the parents participating in the study was determined as primary school, secondary school, high school, university and postgraduate. Qualitative research method and phenomenological design were used for the research method. The necessary permissions and ethics committee approval for the research were obtained by the researcher. Data were collected by establishing face-to-face communication with the participants through the semi-structured interview form prepared by the researcher. The data of the research were evaluated with the content analysis method. As a result of the analyses conducted by the researcher, the category with the highest frequency in the variable of children's rights definition was the rights provided to children by law, the category with the highest frequency in the variable of which rights children have was the right to education, the category with the highest frequency in the variable of teaching children's rights was teachers, and the category with the highest frequency in the variable of teaching children's rights was the speaking method.
