Author Guidelines

The language of DiHA: Journal of Interdisciplinary Legal Studies / Disiplinlerarası Hukuk Araştırmaları Dergisi is Turkish and English. Manuscripts submitted to the journal must be original works that have not been previously published and are not under consideration for publication elsewhere. All authors must approve the submitted version of the manuscript and accept responsibility for its content.

Articles should include Turkish abstracts consisting of 200–250 words and English abstracts, as well as at least 5 and at most 7 keywords in both Turkish and English. Following the abstracts, an English extended abstract of 600–800 words should also be included for all articles written in Turkish. The manuscript, including footnotes, should not exceed 20,000 words. There is no minimum word limit.

The article text should be prepared in Times New Roman font, with 1.5 line spacing and 12-point font size, while footnotes should be single-spaced with 10-point font size. Footnotes should be displayed at the bottom of the page. Citations should be made using the Chicago 17 Full Note citation system. Otherwise, the manuscript will be returned to the author for correction without being assigned to peer review.

Author information, institutional affiliation, ORCID ID, and contribution information should not be included in the manuscript text. This information should be submitted to the journal in a separate file in order to ensure a double-blind peer review process.

At the end of the manuscript, there should be a bibliography listing the sources used in the article, arranged according to the authors’ surnames.

Headings should be formatted as 1 / 1.1 / 1.1.1.

Manuscripts should be submitted in Microsoft Word format through the journal’s online submission system. Authors are required to comply with the journal’s publication ethics, copyright policy, and peer-review principles.
