CYNICISM AND ORGANIZATIONAL CYNICISM TRENDS OF ACADEMICIANS AT SULEYMAN DEMIREL UNIVERSITY FACULTY OF ECONOMICS AND ADMINISTRATIVE SCIENCES

Öz

The aim of this study is to determine the cynicism and organizational cynicism trends of academicians at the Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences at Suleyman Demirel University. For this purpose, while the cynicism is analysed using the scale developed by Wrightman 1992 , for the organizational cynicism, Brandes’s 1997 scale is prefered. The data obtained in this field study is processed and the results are interpreted through the frequency, factor and correlation analyses

Öz

Araştırmanın amacı Süleyman Demirel Üniversitesi İktisadi ve İdari Bilimler Fakültesi’nde görev yapan akademisyenlerin genel sinizm ve örgütsel sinizm eğilimlerini tespit etmektir. Bu amaçla genel sinizm eğilimi Wrightman 1992 tarafından, örgütsel sinizm ise Brandes 1997 tarafından geliştirilen ölçekler kullanılarak araştırılmıştır. Alan araştırması sonucunda elde edilen veriler frekans, faktör ve korelasyon analizinlerine tabi tutularak incelenmiş ve sonuçlar yorumlanmıştır.
