                            <p>is getting more complicated to make a decision regarding the choice ofenergy type mainly because of like reasons the weakness of the available energy, theenvironmental pollution, the increase of the social interest to energy problem, etc.Continuous uses of fossil fuels are bound to pollute the atmosphere and consequentlyunwanted greenhouse and climate change effects will come to dominate every part ofthe earth. It is. therefore, advised to exploit clean energy resources. and for manynations in the world to try to assess their environmentally friendly, clean energyresources such as wind energy. Hence, it is an urgent situation to determine the windenergy potential in every country. The wind energy is a very clean energy sourcepromising hope in the short term in our country. It is necessary to determine the startof the immediate usage of this potential and the investigation of the necessarytechnique and economic feasibility. For this purpose. the determination of windpotential in Kutahya-Kiz.lbayir has been investigated for a period of 16 months.After the evaluation of the data taken for 16 months by using the available software,the amount of regional wind energy has been determined.</p></trans-abstract>
                                                                                                                                    <abstract><p>Ruzgar enerjisi ulkerniz icin krsa vadede oldukca Omit var olan temiz bir enerjikaynagidrr, Bu kaynagm biran once kullarulmaya baslanmas: icin gerekli teknik veekonomik fizibilite cahsrnalannm yapilmasi gerekrnektedir. Bu calisma kapsarnmdayorenin ruzgar enerjisi potansiyelinin belirlenmesi amaciyla Durnlupmar UniversitesiMerkez Kampus alanmda ruzgar olcumleri yaprlmrstrr. Kampus alanmda kurulanruzgar oleum istasyonundan Ternrnuz 2001- Ekim 2002 tarihleri arasmda ruzgar hizive yonu degisimleri incelenrnistir. 16 ay boyunca ahnan veriler, mevcut yazihmlarvasitasiyla degerlendirilip bolgenin ruzgar enerjisi potansiyeli bulunrnustur. Oleumalarunda yer seviyesinden lOve 30 m yukanda gozlenen yillik ortalama ruzgar hrz:sirasiyla 4.
