The purpose of this research is to determine and examine the opinions of physical education teachers working in Ankara, Keçiören district, about physical education and sports teaching and the level of their teaching profession attitudes. The population of the research consists of 294 physical education and sports teachers working in Ankara, Keçiören district, and the sample consists of 207 randomly selected physical education and sports teachers. A personal information form consisting of seven questions was used to determine the demographic data of the teachers. Demographic questions were determined as age, gender, educational level, monthly income, level of education, length of time working as a teacher, and area of expertise. Personal standard deviation, mean, frequency and percentage values for these variables are tabulated. At the same time, BEÖYTÖ (Attitude Scale towards the Physical Education Teaching Profession) was used to measure the professional attitudes of physical education teachers. The scale applied in the test was prepared as a five-point Likert type and consisted of 23 questions. The analysis and testing of the research was carried out using the SPSS 25.0 package program. The Kolmogorov Smirnov test was used to check whether the distribution of the data was normally distributed. Independent t test was used for comparison of two groups showing parametric distribution, and Man Whitney U test was used for comparison of two groups showing non-parametric distribution. One Way ANOVA test was used for comparisons of more than two groups showing parametric distribution, and Kruskal Wallis test was used for comparisons of more than two groups showing non-parametric distribution. As a result, no significant difference was detected in teachers' attitudes of professional love and professional concern according to the variables of age, gender, educational level, monthly income, level of education, tenure, and field of expertise (p>0.05).
Bu araştırmanın amacı, Ankara ili, Keçiören ilçesinde görevli beden eğitimi öğretmenlerinin, beden eğitimi ve spor öğretmenliği hakkındaki görüşlerini ve öğretmenlik meslek tutumlarının ne düzeyde olduğunu belirleyip incelemektir. Araştırmanın evrenini Ankara, Keçiören ilçesinde görev yapan 294 beden eğitimi ve spor öğretmeni, örneklemini ise tesadüfü olarak seçilmiş 207 beden eğitimi ve spor öğretmeni oluşturmaktadır. Öğretmenlerin demografik verilerinin saptanması için yedi sorudan oluşan kişisel bilgi formu kullanılmıştır. Demografik sorular yaş, cinsiyet, eğitim durumu, aylık gelir durumu, görev yaptığı eğitim kademesi, öğretmenlikte görev yaptığı süre, uzmanlık alanı olarak belirlenmiştir. Bu değişkenlere yönelik kişisel standart sapma, ortalama, frekans ve yüzde değerleri tablo haline getirilmiştir. Aynı zamanda beden eğitimi öğretmenlerinin mesleki tutumlarının ölçülmek amacıyla BEÖYTÖ (Beden eğitimi öğretmenliği mesleğine yönelik tutum ölçeği) kullanılmıştır. Testte uygulanan ölçek beşli likert tipi hazırlanmış ve 23 sorudan oluşmuştur. Araştırmanın analiz ve testi SPSS 25.0 paket programı kullanılarak yapılmıştır. Kolmogorov Smirnov testi ile verilerin dağılımının normal dağılıp dağılmadığına bakılmıştır. Parametrik dağılım gösteren iki grup karşılaştırması için Independent t testi, non-parametrik gösteren iki grup karşılaştırması için ise Man Whitney U testi, kullanılmıştır. Parametrik dağılım gösteren ikiden fazla grup karşılaştırması için One Way ANOVA testi, non-parametrik gösteren ikiden fazla grup karşılaştırması için ise Kruskal Wallis testi kullanılmıştır. Sonuç olarak yaş, cinsiyet, eğitim durumu, aylık gelir durumu, görev yaptığı eğitim kademesi, görev süresi, uzmanlık alanı değişkenlerine göre öğretmenlerin mesleki sevgi ve mesleki kaygı tutumlarında anlamlı bir fark tespit edilmemiştir (p>0,05).
