Düzce University Journal of Social Sciences, which began its publication in 2011, has continued uninterruptedly to this day. In 2021, the journal underwent a name change, removing the term “Institute” from its title and continuing as Düzce University Journal of Social Sciences. The journal is published electronically twice a year, in July and December, and is indexed in EBSCO Sociology Source, SOBİAD, ASOS, and Index Copernicus. Currently in the TR Index monitoring process, the journal publishes articles in Turkish and English on topics within the scope of social sciences. There are no submission or publication fees for articles.
Düzce University Journal of Social Sciences has decided to publish a Special Issue in 2024. The "Special Issue on Caucasian Languages and Cultures" will feature research articles on the characteristics of Caucasian languages and cultures, the preservation and teaching of existing languages in the Caucasus region and its diaspora, and increasing the interest of heritage language speakers in their languages and cultures. The article submission deadline is June 30, 2024. Articles submitted after this date will not be considered for the special issue.
