Abstract
Bilme isteği ve özellikle de “gelecekte ne olacağını bilme” insanlığın her zaman ilgisini çekmiş bir konudur. Genel olarak “kehanet” şeklinde adlandırabileceği- miz gelecekten haber verme ise insanoğlu için çok önemli olmuştur. Biz Türk boylarının anlatma geleneği içinde önemli bir yer tutan ve daha çok bir “motif” olarak kullanılan bu unsura, Türk kültüründe ve konumuz itibariyle de zengin bir destancılık geleneğine sahip olan Altay ve Tıva Türk destanlarında da rastla- maktayız. Çalışmamızda Altay ve Tıva destanlarında görülen “haber verme moti- fi”ni anlatmaların yapısındaki yerini olay, kişi, materyaller, ihtiyaçlar ve kültür taşıyıcılığı bakımından değerlendireceğiz
Abstract
Desire for knowing, but particularly “knowing what will happen in the future”, is an issue which have always attracted the attention of humanity. News giving from the future, generally named as “prophecy”, has been always very important for the human beings. Have been generally used as a “motive”, this nuance has an important place in the tradition of narrating in Turkish tribes. And we encounter this nuance in Turkish culture and in the epics of Altai and Tıvan who has a rich tradition of epics. In this paper, we will analysis the “news-giving motive” in Altai and Tıvan Turks’ epics and its place in the structure of narrating in terms of event, person, materials, necessities and even cultural trait
