Academia Journal of Educational Research has been publishing all articles under the terms of the Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial 4.0 International (CC BY-NC 4.0) license since it started publishing. This license means that all content is freely available without charge to the user or his/her institution. Users are allowed to read, download, copy, distribute, print, search, or link to the full texts of the articles, or use them for any other lawful purpose, without asking prior permission from the publisher or the author. This policy is in line with the Budapest Open Access Initiative (BOAI) definition, and Academia Journal of Educational Research has also signed the BOAI.

LOCKSS system has permission to collect, preserve, and serve this open access Archival Unit.

"Open Access" is a term that covers both Gratis and Libre Open Access. While "Gratis" open access means free online access, "libre" open access means free online access as well as some usage rights.
Academia Journal of Educational Research, in addition, to publishing scientific research, offers this research free of charge by adopting the principle that providing information free of charge will increase its global sharing and the policy of providing open access. Moreover, it provides instant open access to its content.
