Peer Review Process

For EJEAS, articles that have not been previously published and have not been submitted to another journal at the time of submission may be accepted.

Articles submitted to EJEAS are firstly taken into the pre-evaluation process.

In the pre-evaluation process;

  • Examination of articles according to the purpose and scope of the journal,
  • Placing plagiarism with the help of iThenticate ©
  • Control of compliance with the journal’s writing rules,
  • The copyright declaration form is checked.

As a result of the pre-evaluation process, the articles will appear as ‘pending’ or ‘reject’ in the system. In case of rejection of the articles in the pre-evaluation process, the necessary explanation about the reason for the rejection is sent to the author by e-mail.

The author’s name and institution information of an article that passes the pre-evaluation process is deleted and send to at least 2 referees for evaluation. The results of the article evaluation can be ‘Accept’, ‘Minor Revision’, ‘Major Revision’ or ‘Reject’. Depending on the decisions of the referees, the article may be sent to additional referees.
