Abstract
The aim of the current study was to compare 10th grade students' attitudes towards quadratic functions with computer assisted teaching method and traditional teaching method. A case study method was used. In total, thirty students participated in the study; 15 in the experimental group and 15 in the control group. With the aim of identifying the attitudes of 10th grade students' towards quadratic functions, a researcher-designed "Quadratic Functions Attitude Questionnaire" was used. When the students' attitudes towards quadratic functions were analyzed after the instructions, it was found that their attitudes towards quadratic functions were "medium" level. The experimental group students' attitudes scores towards quadratic functions were slightly higher than the control gruop students' scores. However, the scores of students in experimental and control group towards quadratic functions was not statistically significant.
İKİNCİ DERECEDEN FONKSİYONLAR KONUSUNA YÖNELİK TUTUMLARDA BİLGİSAYAR DESTEKLİ ÖĞRETİM YÖNTEMİNİN ETKİSİ
Abstract
Bu çalışmanın amacı, bilgisayar destekli öğretim ile geleneksel öğretim yönteminde onuncu sınıf öğrencilerinin ikinci dereceden fonksiyonlar konusuna yönelik tutumlarını karşılaştırmalı olarak incelemektir. Bu çalışmada durum çalışması yöntemi kullanılmıştır. Araştırma grubu deney grubunda 15 ve kontrol grubunda 15 olmak üzere toplam 30 öğrenciden oluşmaktadır. Onuncu sınıf öğrencilerin ikinci dereceden fonksiyonlar konusuna yönelik tutumlarını belirlemek amacıyla araştırmacı tarafından geliştirilen İkinci Dereceden Fonksiyonlar Tutum Anketi" kullanılmıştır. Deney grubu ve kontrol grubu öğrencilerinin öğretim sonrasında ikinci dereceden fonksiyonlar alt öğrenme alanına karşı tutumlarına ilişkin görüşleri incelendiğinde öğrencilerin ikinci dereceden fonksiyonlara yönelik tutumlarının "orta" düzeyde olduğu sonucuna varılmıştır. Deney grubundaki öğrencilerin ikinci dereceden fonksiyonlar alt öğrenme alanına yönelik tutum puanlarının kontrol grubundaki öğrencilere göre biraz daha yüksek olduğu ancak deney ve kontrol grubu öğrencilerin ikinci dereceden fonksiyonlar alt öğrenme alanına yönelik tutum puanları arasında anlamlı bir fark bulunmadığı ortaya çıkmıştır.
