Comparison of Elementary Science and Mathematics Teacher Education Programs in Two State Universities In Michigan / Michigan’daki İki Üniversitenin İlköğretim Fen Bilgisi ve Matematik Öğretmeni Yetiştirme Programlarının Karşılaştırılması

Abstract

Bu makalede Amerika Birleşik Devletleri, Michigan eyaletinde öğretmenliğe başlayabilmek ve mesleğe devam edebilmek için sağlanması gereken genel eğitim koşulları incelenmiştir. Ayrıca, eyaletteki iki farklı eyalet üniversitesinde uygulanan ilköğretim matematik ve fen bilgisi öğretmenliği programlarının öğretmen adaylarını mesleğe nasıl hazırladıkları tanımlayıcı durum çalısması yöntemiyle incelenmiş ve karşılaştırılmıştır. Programlar mezun olmak için gereken genel kültür, ana dal, yan dal ve öğretmenlik deneyimi dersleri açısından karşılaştırılmıştır.
