İnek Corpus Luteumunun Hücresel Yapısı ve İşlevi

Abstract

İneklerde gebeliğin devamını sağlayan ve siklik olayları düzenleyen progesteronun en önemli kaynağı olan corpus luteum, üreme sürecinde oldukça önemli bir rol oynar. İnek corpus luteumu iki steroidogenik hücre tipine sahiptir. Progesteronun kaynağı da bu steroidogenik küçük ve büyük luteal hücrelerdir. Corpus luteum aynı zamanda fibroblast, makrofaj ve endothelial hücreler gibi nonsteroidogenik hücreler de içerir. Bu nonsteroidogenik hücrelerin de corpus luteumun işlevinde rol aldığına inanılmaktadır. Bu dokunun fizyolojisinin iyi anlaşılması luteal fonksiyonu manüple etme olanağı sağlayacağı için, bu derlemede corpus luteumun yapısal özellikleri üzerinde durulmuştur
