The Editor and Editorial Board evaluate the submitted manuscripts for publication. Manuscripts that are considered outside the aims and scope of the journal, or not prepared according to the journal instructions are rejected or may be required some revisions at this initial stage. Editor without a referee report will never accept manuscripts, at this early stage.

Reviewer Evaluation

Environmental Research and Technology operates a "double blind" evaluation process policy. This means that the reviewers will not know the author(s), and vice versa.

After initial evaluation, editor sends the manuscripts to at least two reviewers chosen according to their expertise. Reviewers are asked to evaluate the manuscript by the means of originality, methodology, contribution to the literature, presentation of results and support for the conclusions, and appropriate referencing of previous relevant studies. Reviewers can accept, reject or require a revision for style and/or content. For publication of articles, at least two positive reports are required.

When a revision is required, the author(s) should consider the criticisms and suggestions offered by the reviewers. The author(s) should provide the revised version of manuscript in 15 days.

Final Evaluation

After the complition of the review process, Editor(s) conducts final evaluation. The articles accepted for publication by Editorial Board are placed in an issue in sequence.
