                            <p>Insecticides are the pesticides that are commonly used tokill insect in agriculture. Metaflumizone is a commonly used insecticide invegetable cultivation . The aim of this study is to determine the changes onpepper plant due to metaflumizone application and to investigate the effect ofsalt stress on these changes. For this purpose 50 mM NaCl and differentconcentrations of metaflumizone (1.2, 2.4 ve 4.8 mM) was used as a stressfactor in the seperate and simultaneous applications at the pepper. 1.2 mMmetaflumizone application did not cause significant changes in plants.Meanwhile, high concentrations of metaflumizone decreased % RWC, totalchlorophyll, and cartenoid while increasing APX, GST, GR activities as well asGSH, MDA, and prolin contents. Application of NaCl to the plants simultaneouslywith metaflumizone induced changes caused by insecticide. This study showedthat the insecticide and salt stresses show synergistic effect and thereforethe salt stress simultaneously with metaflumizone increases the insecticideeffect.</p></trans-abstract>
                                                                                                                                    <abstract><p>İnsektisilertarımsal üretimde böceklerle mücadelede kullanılan pestisitlerdir. Metaflumizoneözellikle sebze yetiştiriciliğinde yaygın olarak kullanılan bir insektisittir.Bu çalışma metaflumizone uygulamasının biber bitkisinde meydana getirdiğideğişimleri belirlemeyi ve bu değişimler üzerine tuz stresinin etkilerini incelemeyiamaçlamaktadır. Bu amaçla biberde 50 mM NaCl ve farklı dozlarda metaflumizone(1.2, 2.4 ve 4.8 mM) streslerinin ayrı ayrı ve eş zamanlı uygulamalarınınetkileri incelenmiştir. 1.2 mM metaflumizone uygulaması bitkilerde önemli birdeğişime sebep olmamıştır. Bununla birlikte yüksek dozda metaflumizoneuygulaması % RWC, toplam klorofil ve karotenoid içeriklerinde azalmaya, APX,GST, GR aktiviteleri ile GSH, MDA ve prolin içeriklerinde bir artışa sebepolmuştur. Bitkilere metaflumizone ile eş zamanlı olarak NaCl uygulanmasıinsektisitin meydana getirdiği değişimleri indüklemiştir. Bu çalışma insektisitve tuz streslerinin sinerjistik etki gösterdiğini ve bu nedenle insektisit ileeş zamanlı uygulanan tuz stresinin insektisit etkisi ile oluşan hasarı arttırdığınıortaya çıkarmıştır.</p></abstract>
